Dear Americans,
As this is my first blogging attempt I apologize for my amature post, but I hope that through this effort I will raise a little interest, some comments, and even some constructive criticism regarding my future endeavor.
I have recently created a non profit organization (501(C)3 Pending) called the Nation of Patriots and with the help of a solid board of directors am in the process of letting the cat out of the bag. This organization, while having a great but common cause, when launched will be unlike anything our country has seen.
Our cause and motivation are American wounded veterans with families. We've chosen this hurting segment of the American population because after the homecoming, the medal ceremonies, and the crowds of patriotic Americans have all gone home these individuals are faced with the common pressures we all face. Unfortunately, because of the wounds inflicted overseas while they were voluntarily placing themselves in harm's way for all of us, they are especially at the mercy of the financial burdens of supporting their families. While our government is working to improve the lives of these wounded veterans and the families they support, we believe that because of their sacrifice on all of our behalf that it is our social responsibility to bare part of their burden.
As an organization we can help a few, but as a Nation of Patriots we can help many. These men and women deserve to be honored, they deserve a chance to realize the greatness of a life inside America's borders, but above all they deserve the respect of this nation.
Because we, the Nation of Patriots, believe strongly in the above we will be launching a fundraising campaign almost worthy of the sacrifice our wounded Marines, Army, and Navy men and women have made to us as civilians. This fundraising campaign will be called the Patriot Tour. The Patriot Tour will be a non stop motorcycle tour that will travel through all 48 contiguous states stopping at predetermined location for rest and promotion of our cause and mission. The Patriot Tour will also act as a national pep rally as it will be a blaze of red, white, and blue rolling from town to town, city to city, state to state.
